Affiliate Terms & Conditions

GameSwap.Shop Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By signing up to be an affiliate in the GameSwap.Shop Affiliate Program (“Program”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before signing up.

2. Commissions and Referrals

    • Commission Rate: You will receive a 10% commission on the total sale amount of orders generated through your unique affiliate link.
    • Calculation: Commission is calculated based on the net product price. It does not include shipping fees, taxes, or discounts applied by the customer.
    • Cookie Duration: We use a 30-day cookie. If a customer clicks your link and purchases within 30 days, you earn the commission.
    • Self-Referrals: You may not purchase products through your own affiliate links for personal use. Such purchases will not generate a commission.

3. Payout Schedule and Methods

    • Minimum Threshold: You must earn a minimum of £50 in cleared commissions before a payout is generated. If your balance is below £50, it will roll over to the next month.
    • Payment Schedule: Payouts are processed on the 1st of every month.
    • Grace Period: There is a 30-day holding period on all commissions to account for our return window. Payouts processed on the 1st include only those commissions that have successfully cleared this 30-day period.
    • Payment Method: All payouts are sent via PayPal. You must maintain a valid PayPal address in your affiliate profile to receive payment.

4. Refunds and Chargebacks

    • Deductions: If a customer refunds an order or requests a chargeback within the 30-day grace period, the pending commission for that order will be deducted from your account balance.
    • Post-Payment Refunds: If a refund occurs after we have already paid you the commission, we reserve the right to deduct that amount from your future earnings.

5. PPC and Brand Bidding (Strictly Prohibited)

    • Brand Bidding: You are NOT permitted to run Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads) using the [Company Name] brand name or any variations/misspellings thereof.
    • Negative Keywords: If you run general PPC campaigns, you must add “[Company Name]” as a negative keyword to ensure your ads do not appear for branded searches.
    • Direct Linking: You may not direct link to our website from PPC campaigns; you must direct traffic to your own landing page first.
    • Violation: Violation of this PPC policy will result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of all pending commissions.

6. Promotion Guidelines

    • Spam: You may not use spam (unsolicited email or messages) to promote our products.
    • Representation: You may not represent yourself as the “Official Site” of [Company Name] or confuse customers regarding your relationship with us.
    • Ethical Marketing: You may not post your affiliate links on coupon sites or “deal” aggregators unless explicitly authorized.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination for violation of terms, any unpaid commissions will be forfeited.

 

8. Liability

GameSwap.Shop will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages (loss of revenue, commissions) due to affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any results of intents of harm to the Program and/or to our website(s).
